Step 1: Soak the Sea Moss

  1. Take a handful of dried sea moss and place it in a large bowl.
  2. Fill the bowl with spring water and let it soak overnight (8–12 hours).
    • The sea moss will expand and soften, swelling to nearly twice its size.
  3. For best results, change the water once during soaking for extra cleanliness.

Step 2: Wash and Blend

  1. Drain the soaking water and place the sea moss in a strainer.
  2. Rinse thoroughly by hand to remove any remaining salt or debris.
  3. Add the cleaned sea moss to a high-speed blender.
  4. Pour in fresh water:
    • For a thick gel, add water halfway up the sea moss.
    • For a thinner gel, add equal parts water and moss.
  5. Then, blend on high speed for 1–2 minutes until smooth and creamy.

Step 3: Store and Chill Your Sea Moss Gel

  1. Pour the blended sea moss into a glass jar or airtight container.
  2. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
  3. Finally, once chilled, the gel will become thick and ready to use.

💡 Pro Tip: Add one tablespoon of gel to your morning smoothies, soups, or juices for a powerful mineral boost.
